‘Come on baby light my fire’ – The Doors. I love the whole sixties era. The Doors, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Fonda and more. Mirage Magazine number 12 is completely inspired by the sixties. A very big magazine brimming with sixties fashion photography and stories. This French magazine (written in English) is so full of inspiration. Besides that, it’s of such quality, it doesn’t look like a magazine anymore. It looks perfect on my coffeetable, next to my Photography and Fashion books. Key words are Youth. Summer. Sun. Skin. Realism. Voyeurism. Rebellion. Nostalgia. Indifference.

You gotta have it. You can buy it here for €16.00.

Hudson Jeans created a new pair of jeans with the cute name: Baby Boot. The jeans is very sixties, with a bit of a flare at the end.  My opinion? This jeans is a must-have for this summer. Especially in the light wash Love Lane.

According to Ben Taverniti, head denim designer for HUDSON, “The Baby Boot was inspired by British Pop and Rock n’ Roll culture in the 60’s. The silhouette is a re-interpretation of a style worn by musicians, mods, and others from the street scene at the time.”
Face of the Hudson Jeans campaign is Georgia May Jagger – this beauty is also the face of Rimmel.
The Baby Boot ($220) will be available in late January at the trendy retailer http://www.whatgoesaroundnyc.com/. Additional washes will launch in April 2010.
